I was inspired to create an album out of a prior audiomancy session, not unlike what I had done with the ECTOGASM record, but this time under DAKOTA SLIM as the musical instrumentation and motifs fit the character and is help charging my long-form fiction ZOZOBRA to finally find a shareable draft this year.
The music may sound familiar as it was used to score the last HAUNT MANUAL “Sine Wave Serpents” episode of PRAGMAGICK, however I utilized a cut-up technique via the editing and mastering process and even recorded lo-fi drums and vocals for the shoegaze-y track “Two-Twenty-Three” as an audiomantic sigil to punch through the haze.
