Howdy haunts,
Fleshed out this demo for the upcoming Revel Rosz “Rosz Al Ghül” forthcoming audio sigil / album. This was a song called “Coyotes in Koreatown” I had written – but when I tracked it yesterday all preconceived notions of its structure and rhythm blew away. I let the ghost drive on this one.
During my Listening Post Alpha sessions, I contacted an HGA-like entity that calls itself Little Wind – and it has been my driving force of communion via musick and magick. Specifically musick as during my spirit box sessions Little Wind has been encouraging and ecstatic about the song sorcery.
All lyrics are channeled. Nothing was written aside from the “Can’t trust a man who don’t trust the weather” survived from its original version.
Still aiming for a vocal heavy, atmospheric doom-gospel oeuvre that permeated the songs before – something akin to more of the haunting and spacial menace of some Dakota Slim tracks in the past. I’ve been absurdly shy about my vocal performances over my discography – but no more (still biting my lip).
I consorted my Marseille deck for some much needed encouragement about this album’s anarchic direction. And I was pleased to see just how encouraging it was!

Revel Rosz was charged and came forth, again, to be my Revelator of hauntomantic revelries while Dakota Slim slumbers in wait for Zozobra.
Everything recorded is referred to as a “scratch” track, or a placeholder recording while I experimented with multiple instruments and drum machine on tape. Suffice it to say, this is nowhere near done and may change drastically upon release. But this stands as a fun testament to the beginnings of this brand new album.
