Cactus Crown was always constructed musically with a cinematic current tethering the narrative, so it excited me to finally do some instrumental remixes and focus on the intense musicality & production of this little masterpiece!

All rhythm samples were made organically by playing kitchen sink / junk percussion on to cassette tape during “Audiomancy” sessions. I then restructured and sequenced new rhythms out of tape splicing and experimenting.

And that’s ONLY the drums. I’ll release this one at the $1 dollar tier but the rest will be for “audiomancers” at 4 bucks a month!
