The emergence of WŧH’s ‘Cosmick Witness’ and rhythmancer Frater Perseus into my world was one of the few miracles afforded by my anarchic use and niche-weirdness of PRAGMAGICK and its multimedia currents such as youtube – funny enough, I believe it was on the Aspektre working video, or one of the many improvised audiomancy & videomancy DIM SESSIONS I force on subscribers— where I performed experimental multi-instrumental metaphysickal goofjuice masked in ritual garb, and completely untethered to any schema outside of the magick rite therein— only trve puvnks left alive from the vibez— and he was one!
He provided a rare comment under one of these subscriber stress-tests that read something akin to “I dont know what the hell is going on but i dig it…”
Actually, I found it:
This sort of rare hat-tip is water in the desert for a weirdo creator such as myself so I was happy to give thanks, and what followed was an immediate exploitation of his incredible drumming!
After we realized having him drum to songs I’ve already written wasn’t the communion that needed casting, I simply asked him to send me a recording of his own rhythms and hoped I could construkt atop. I gave him some simple 1 mic, full-set recording techniques – in short order he was sending me single tracks of his monster rhythms from his leviathan drum set that sparked a deep seated need to get my “MELVINS out” within fuzz laden gospel!
We ignited an onslaught of an unintended new musickal project that made my 13 year old Spektre grin from ear to ear With every discordant Rat Pedal Fuzzed Baritone Strum. He afforded me the outlet and vernacular to fuzz the fuck out, finally.

Naturally, we made an audiosigil as an e.p. of songs I constructed and tracked and mixed and mastered in a fever dream of mere weeks. That was “The Mauve Sessions” a year ago today. I’ve never been good with promotion so unfortunately this was undeservedly a quiter album release. But it stands the testament of time and i’m ready to make up for it. A year is nothing compared to the trajectory it harbinges.
